Guest guest
My chiropractor recommended that I take these three substances for a knee injury and a couple of degenerated discs in my neck- all due to injury. I take Glucosamine now. What do you think about these three supplements? Are there herbal substitutes that are as effective? Are there herbal equivalents for the Glucosamine and Chondroiton that are not synthetic- I don't really know what they are made from anyway. I've just know the Glucosamine does help. Thanks, Karen
Guest guest
Karen, My little Yorkie needed 2 rear knee surgeries at $500 each. Her injury was from constant jumping in her 8 years on those back legs... She got so bad she was falling all the time. Instead of spending $1000 on surgery, I'd remembered reading about Glucosamine & Chondroiton and bought a bottle. Within 2 weeks she was showing NO symptoms...her little knees were not giving out on her!!! It's been over a year now and she still appears to be just fine. I mentioned it to my vet last month when she went in for shots, who said 'that is fine'. HA!! Good for your chiropractor!! I had a friend wh had 2 knee surgeries last year and I tried to get her to use the G & C instead.. I think some people just like the attentiont they get from having surgeires... She is still in pain and still refuses to try G & C. I hope you will try it and perhaps someone will give you some other herbs to work with as well :)Malinda My chiropractor recommended that I take these three substances for a knee injury and a couple of degenerated discs in my neck- all due to injury. Guest guest
Thanks Malinda. The Glucosamine does make a difference. I was just wondering what this stuff is made from. I am probably better off just sticking with what works in this situation since it's not prescription, but I do like to check on herbal alternatives. herbal remedies , " Malinda Jackson " <malindajackson@s...> wrote: > Karen, > My little Yorkie needed 2 rear knee surgeries at $500 each.
