I use coconut oil, works great, it doesn't irritate my skin, this is just personal experience, I'm allergic to just about everything else I have ever tried

Doesn't the coconut oil clog the pores? Is there anything that

anyone has tried that is good for hydrating the skin?

Hi Juliska,

I also use organic unprocessed coconut oil. I even use it as my daily

facial moisturiser, because most moisturisers are so full of things I

can't pronounce. It works well, soaks in quickly.

The other oil I use, more in winter, is cold pressed Black Sesame Oil,

which is recommended in Ayurvedic medicine, it is very soothing and

warming. It has a particular smell though, which I dont mind but my

husband detests!

I use either of these oils in a weekly self massage, for nightly foot

massages or whenever I have dry skin and am feeling self-nurtuing enough

to do something about it!

I think Jojoba is another good oil, but it is more expensive.

I usually use organic sesame oil in winter (food grade, found by

olive oils etc) Sesame oil is a good source of Vit E, which helps

heal the skin. If you don't want to apply it directly to skin, you

can add a capful in bathwater, but it will make the tub very

slippery. Really soaks into the skin that way tho....

In summer, I prefer to use jojoba oil as it feels a bit lighter to

me, and my skin isn't as dry as it is in winter. (Heather Loraine

No, this is not a forum for advertising!!!!

I recommended this company due to the question asked. I have NO financial connection to this company. I simply use their products and am very happy with them.

Look at it this way, which is also stated in the list policies:

you can totally answer someone's question by mentioning a product or company, providing you personally have nothing to gain financially by doing so.

you can NOT originate (post out of the blue without someone asking for this information) any particular product or company, especially one you have no personal knowledge of, and especially one you personally have financial ties to.

I hope that explains this policy a bit more. If you have any further questions, please check the policies as listed in the files on the website.
