Guest guest
Hi Kelli, Yes, the children dosage follows the 150 rule, that's what I do also with my son. I would make the lemon egg with the whole egg first, and then you can use the left over egg for your morning drink! Yes, you can add cayenne to your morning drink - I have. I am totally NOT into *hot* eating/drinking, so even 1 drop of Doc's tincture is a lot for me LOL. I managed to get up to 4 drops, and that was already too much for my taste! As far as I know, tinctures are more potent than capsules, but don't quote me on that as I'm certainly no expert on such matters. love Lisa - Kelli herbal remedies Wednesday, March 30, 2005 6:15 PM Herbal Remedies - Total Nutrition questions What a wonderful list this is. I learn so much here. I have a couple of questions about Total Nutrition. I’ve been making the recipe in the files for my family for a couple of months now, and we all love it. Took some getting used to though, but now even the children ask for their morning drink every day. We can definitely feel it when we don’t have the drink. Anyway, my questions are – what is the dosage for children? Does it follow the standard 150 rule for dosing so that my son who weighs 50 pounds would be getting 2 teaspoons? And at 75 pounds my daughter would get1 tablespoon? Or does it really matter? I’ve been putting raw organic eggs in mine – no one else wants to join me in this J (Kelli – it did turn my stomach to think about it, but a friend pointed out that in the past I had eaten raw cookie dough, I really don’t think it affects the taste at all). Could I use the shells from those eggs to make lemon egg and if I did would it be better to make the lemon egg with the whole egg (before cracking), or with the leftover shells? I bought some Udo’s oil, but haven’t started adding it yet- one step at a time. We do however add panther piss. Also, after reading of Dr. Christopher’s praise of cayenne, my husband wants to add cayenne to his morning Total Nutrition drink. Would there be any reason for not doing that? How much cayenne would be a good amount to add, or does that depend on how hot someone can handle it? Would it be better to take a capsule or a tincture of cayenne and leave the drink alone? Anything else I’m not thinking of? Thanks so much for any answers you can help me out with. I really appreciate the kind, helpful advice given on this list.
