Guest guest
Peace to everyone,in the Living Foods Lifestyle book that i've been reading, the authorcame across the topic of the colon and its importance to overallhealth. now i did the Master Cleanse about 2 months back, and i'mcurious as to whether or not that does a thorough cleansing of thecolon. my guess is that it does..my next question would be, what would be the most convenient, affordable way to regularly clean out my colon?? whether it be dietrelated, supplements or whatever.?? how often should it be done.??my concern over this is because i've heard people say over and overagain how we should have 3-4 bowel movements a day.. i usually justhave 1, maybe 2. one thing i'm noticing about the raw foods dietis that i don't know if i'm eating enough filling type of meals, andas a result i periodically am in the kitchen looking for little thingsto snack on all the time like raisins ( i LOVE raisins), almonds, sunflower or pumpkin seeds, etc.. I also eat a LOT of bread. i'vecut down on cereal, but now it's the organic bread tha'ts filling thatvoid. I feel that i'm eating wayy too much of it, even though i maynot be. i just need something to feel like its filling me up, andbread is the easiest, safest way that i know.. do you have anysuggestions.?? what kind of short or long term effects can come fromeating a lot of bread, be it good or bad..as i'm typing this, i'm now thinking about the other way ofeliminating toxins, of course through urine. correct me if i'mwrong, but speaking on what the proper color of the urine should be.if you're body is less toxic, you're urine should be more of a clearcolor as opposed to being dark yellow or any other color for thatmatter.???as always, thanks for your help...PEACE EternallyNG Make your home page
Guest guest
Hi NG, I used to also be addicted to breads and grain things. Ate LOTS of it! Got a really sluggish colon out of the deal, too. I didn't know until I listened to Doc's lecture (free from www.academyofnaturalhealing.com if you haven't gotten it yet) that this is because of ENZYME INHIBITORS. (See the article in the files on this group called "The Hidden Influence".) The bread, the seeds, all of that will impair your digestion. I would recommend filling up by snacking on fruit and veggies, or even sprout some almonds or peanuts. I believe you will see a difference if you change those eating habits. I did!
