Guest guest
Thanks for all the ideas to help my pooch. I'm going to try some of them. And I'm going to look for some of the more natural anti anxiety stuff mentioned. I think his problem is partly that it hurts & itches cause the tissue is so damaged and also an emotional thing. I've noticed that he could be laying peacefully, and if voices get raised or one of my kids stomps off and slams a door, he will start licking. Guest guest
Hi Scott, Well, my dog isn't anxious (and isn't the dog that's chewing), but if she was I think I'd want to try and find out why before I started treating the symptom. I'm just thinking out loud here, because I don't have any experience in treating anxiety herbally, but it seems to me that there has to be some reason for it - I'd start with nutrition, then environment. Getting another dog as Zeb suggested or making sure there's lots of stimulation and play time, etc. OK, enough rambling...!
