Guest guest
I work at an animal shelter and I was bitten by a cat today. I'm supposed go to the doc tomorrow, and they've always given me antibiotics. I'm sick of antibiotics! Or should I say antibiotics make me sick? Anyway, what can I use as a natural antibiotic, both topical and systemic? TIA! Jennifer
Guest guest
You can use Total Tonic and Echinacea. These are excellent antibiotics. About a topical application.. I don't have anything that comes to mind. Most tinctures have alcohol in them so any tincture will do to disinfect. Though I'd simply use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide for the bite. Guest guest
Why not the Total Tonic topically as well? With the 77 different sulpher compounds in garlic, of which Total Tonic has plenty!, it sounds like that would do the trick, no? :)Kelli Office Manager [office] Thursday, March 17, 2005 6:59 AMherbal remedies Subject: Re: Herbal Remedies - cat bite You can use Total Tonic and Echinacea. Guest guest
You can also use some tea tree essential oil, or oregano essential oil topically. Just make sure to dilute it well before putting it on the bite. Both have antibacterial properties.
