Guest guest
Hello everyone, How is everyone's week? I hope well. I have a question for you all. I was injured while riding my bike the other night, my left elbow has a break in it where it helps the arm fully extend. I was wondering, does anyone know of any herbs and/or herbal remedies that will help it heal faster? Thank you very very much. Have a great week and a better weekend. Guest guest
Dear David, There is an herb called comfrey that the FDA insists cannot be taken internally safely. This is purely my PERSONAL OPINION but I think it's a great tea. Remember the FDA forbids ND's from selling this for the purpose of taking it internally. I'm glad your not an ND. Before the FDA budded in this was the most effective herb in helping to rebuild bone, muscle and other body tissue. Other wise Doc or some others here can put you in touch with some formulas that will help accelerate the healing as well. Guest guest
David, Sorry this is so late; just found it. Whenever one has a trauma, one should take 30c of Arnica, once a day, for about a week. You will have no swelling from the break when taking arnica. I did a number on my knee and had to be on crutches for a month. During that time, my knee never swelled up at all due to the arnica. This allows the blood to stay near the trauma site to heal the site vs. ice packs which push the blood away from the site. Also, you can take symphytum, which is comfrey in homeopathic form. You may want to try 30c symphytum once a day for a week or two. When taking symphytum after a break, one must make sure the bone is in the right place to heal, as this homeopathic aid works fast. Also, when taking any homeopathic, take about 20 minutes away from food or water, 3 to 5 pellets under the tongue, and do not touch the other pellets in the bottle (pour into the cap). You can find both at a health store. Arnica is always good to have on hand for any trauma. Guest guest
Arnica also comes in a gel form and the best named one is called Arni-Gel. I forget who makes it but this topical gel is great as well.
