Guest guest
There really aren't very many good ones. If your looking to do a lot and spend lots of money look for something called a Norwalk Press. IF your looking to do it by hand then you find a good cloth and fold it over and over until it's secure and twist the @#$% outta it. (pardon the French, I'm still learning the language). There is also something called a potato ricer and that works for small amounts though requires strong hands, wrists and a good determination. Truly you could put the mash in a strainer and let it sit over a bowl and drip out over a few hours and that works just fine too. Guest guest
Use the strainer, get as much out as you can, then wring the remaining mash in a cloth. herbal remedies , " hyldemoer " <hyldemoer> wrote: > > > <snip> > > and over until it's secure and twist the @#$% outta it. > > (pardon the French, I'm still learning the language). > > n'est probleme pas > ;-) > > <snip> > > Truly you could put the mash in a strainer and let it > > sit over a bowl and drip out over a few hours and that > > works just fine too. > > Isn't there an exposure to air for length of time factor? > > Penel
Guest guest
Yes there is, too long and it starts to degrade/rot. But for a coupe hours this is negligible, but the less time out the better. Guest guest
Cheese cloth should work (any grocery store). It a relatively fine mesh and not nearly as dense as t-shirt cotton. I've used it to strain natural dies made of plant material. herbal remedies , " Office Manager " <office@a...> wrote: > There really aren't very many good ones.
