Im confused, is the 'total nutrition' sold as such... or does one

have to buy the ingredients and mix it themselves? Where do I

buy 'total nutrition' if it is sold pre-made?

Regarding the intestinal cleanse #2, I could not find all the

ingredients in the health food store. I noticed there were some

supplements sold online that had all the ingredients Doc listed. If

I cant find the ingredients should I buy those? Mabey Im not looking

in the right place for the ingredients. I couldnt find apple fruit

pectin, bentonite clay, activated willow charcoal, or marshmallow

root. Are these ingredients usually located with the bulk herbs?

Hi Leisa,

All of the formulas described in this group's website can be either made by yourself, or you can contact Doc off list and he'll help you obtain the ready-made formulas. I normally get mine from Doc direct; I'm in the UK and have not found it easy to obtain all the ingredients, and also I lack time often, with running my own (2) businesses and as well as being a single mum homeschooling my 6-year-old Down's syndrome son! So I take the easy route LOL

Good question. Those items are not clearly visible in

any store I know. If no one here knows where to find

them, I suggest you google on the name and you'll

probably come up with some impartial sources. It's

probably best to make your own if at all possible.

You can find Marshmallow and alot of the herbs online at:

http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/ They have a great variety. Ive ordered

from there several times when I couldnt find certain herbs in bulk form.

Bentonite clay you can find at: http://www.fromnaturewithlove.com Ive also

ordered many supplies from them as well. The apple fruit pectin not sure or

the willow charcoal as well.

Have you tried doing a search on the internet? There are many suppliers

that are very good and reliable as well.

Thought this would help.

Not sure If this was okay to put these web addresses on the list or not. I

know that the Doc has From Nature With Love on the links page.

Hope that helps.

Shay I also found that the herb company I listed before has the bentonite

clay very reasonable on price and I found the charcoal and pectin at

http://www.thevitamineshoppe.com Hope that helps. All I did was type in a

search on their websites and found all those ingrediants you were missing.

Hello,

I've been off list for a while but I'd like to add something here.

It is difficult to purchase these items online for any reasonable pirice

in the quantities that you'd use. Not only is it time consuming but the

results are oftne not even organic. So this is why Lisa mentions getting it

ready made. I've tried doing it the other way and it's a pain. But if you

have the $$ and the capital it's a nice side program you can keep your

family on for a decent price. On the other hand if you don't have the time

nor the inclination and capital it's best to get something that's already

made and known to be an excellent source while still being organic.

The best place to buy these ingredients are places that use them. Then

they have them in stock etc. Places that sell them in their whole forms may

have a grinder to break them down into a powder from. Some do not though and

you have to figure out the best way to go about it.

Over time making your own is more cost effective, but the investment in

time, storage space and money is sometimes just too much.

Love,

Zeb
