irritable bowel syndrome / cascara sagrada

Hi, thanks for the information on the treatment for constipation. I

have one concern and that is that I read that cascara sagrada is not

for people with IBS. Is this true?

 

Should I omit this herb from the remedy?

Hi Leisa, Cascara sagrada is a cathartic herb - it will make your bowels

move! If your bowels don't need to move anymore than they are now, then

I wouldn't take IC #1 at all. If you need soothing, I would be making IC

#2. That is the soothing and healing formula.
