Guest guest
I AM proud to be American ... always! I may not care for the healthcare system and I may not care for some of the officials, but we DO have elections and DO have a choice to change those officials. We can write letters, we can lobby, we can openly protest, and we can work for the candidate of our choice. But, how many people really get off the couch and do that? We can have an open forum like this and say whatever we like and not fear that someone will knock on our door and take us away as a result of our comments. We're spoiled. If the government and our society is not what you want we want it to be, then we need to work harder to get it there. If we think our rights are being eroded then we need to speak up (like the petition and more). But, saying that we're not proud to be American is akin to saying that we expect someone else to take care of us and that they are not doing their job. It our responsiblity to take care of ourselves. herbal remedies , " Shelby Blakely " <sblakely@b...> wrote: > > Don't worry, you are... but that is political and I believe OT.
