Guest guest
Hi, yes I am taking advair and before it was advair it was flovent and serevent and I took those too (same meds different delivery system.) My asthma was so much less severe before I started taking these meds. I had a rescure inhaler that I used only when I got sick. I was sick and went to the Dr. because I couldn't breathe very well they put me on these and and now I have been on them ever since (1996). I think they are addictive because after that if I didn't take them I had a hard time breathing all the time not only when I was sick. Now I want to get off of them ie: the adviar, singulair, and combivent. They do not seem to do anything I am just getting worse and worse. The only way I get any relief is prednisone. I can't stand the stuff but it works. I NEED to find alternatives for all this bad stuff I am using. The advair has also helped me to gain 40 lbs and the prednisone paks on 10lbs everytime I have to take it. I used to be a slim and person and I could breathe well too. Now I am just sick and fat and getting more miserable all the time. I have to find that release form and mail to Doc! herbal remedies , " Miriam " <Miriam546@e...> wrote: > Predisone is terrible stuff and should be avoided.
