Are there herbal solutions for pain such as headache, body aches, etc? Not necessarily related to common cold or flu but general pain. I know there is a "linimint" for some sports injuries, my son's Kung Fu instructors are brewing some. But what else is there? I am also interested in something to treat allergies and eczema. I am allergic to hydrocordizone and don't want to even try this new prescription creme that's advertised so heavily. Mine unfortunately appears on my genitals, of all places! So, obviously I would need to be careful of what is applied.

Thanks.

Hi Jesse, I use herbal " teas " for my pains and

headaches. Red clover, feverfew and red respberry

leaf is a standard morning tea, with ground cayenne

and ground ginger. Sometimes I add nettle, or use

instead of raspberry. That helps the morning aches

and ward off the migraines. Rosemary tea is great.

For nerve pain, trigeminal neuralgia (face pain) and

muscle spasms I found a mix of 1/2 part lobelia, 1

part blue vervain, 1 1/2 part nettle works so well.

Nettle tea alone can be pretty soothing.

Can't help with the others, but plenty in here can.

Also want to mention that as I have gotten away from

prescription meds and processed foods I have many

fewer headaches and am much better physically. (Still

working on that cleanse, procrastination!)

Can anyone give me suggestions about what to use for RSD/CRPS (Reflex

Sympathetic Dystrophy aka Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)? It's 82x more

painful than end-stage cancer (according to research), and my entire lower

legs from the knees to the soles of my feet are in Stage I and II, with

certain areas headed for Stage III (muscle and tissue atrophy, along with

bone demineralization). I'm currently taking a magnesium/malic acid

supplement, along with a joint supplement (MSM, Chondroitin Sulfate, and

Glucosamine).
