dont forget to clean the back surface of the coconut

 

or you will end up with a black and white type of milk.

 

 

i think if you boil your coconut for 2 minutes

 

and then quickly dump it in ice water -the back peel may come off for

 

you- MAYBE -this is how its done in homecanning -

 

you could also brine it with sugar and leave it to dry and it will keep

 

for a long time ,if you vaccum pack it.

 

 

vacuum pack machines are on sale right now at BJ's like 80$ and they

 

 

are very usefull. you could even can coconut if you wish

 

and you can freeze it as well
