Guest guest
Yes,you can do marvels in coconut oil creation. It behooves me to consider. Firstly, you need to bind your ankles with some tall sturdy shoots. Next shimmey up the coconut tree with a long mushetti in your teeth. Secure yourself by gripping firmly the palm shoots at the tree top. Tuck in your legs to increase your center-of-gravity and with the other hand and assert your focus on a exacting blow, releasing the coconut seed to the ground. Then with undue care, make your way back to the ground where you can plant the coconut. Then dig a deep hole at the juncture point of readily fertile soil and..... ....Oh!,there goes the time.... herbal remedies , natural game <mathmasta1111001> wrote: > > > > Peace to everyone, > > Can someone kindly post the procedure to make Coconut Milk.?? Guest guest
The only sweetener I would use is stevia. And a teaspoon in this recipe would be way too much....I use the Herbal Authority brand liquid drops and *never* use more than 2-3 drops in a very large glass or cup of anything. I'd use them in this recipe, to taste, starting out with 2-3 drops. However, first I'd taste it because coconut is pretty sweet itself. Any reason not to use fresh coconut instead of dried? I have three fresh ones just dropped from my tree in the front yard....just haven't figured out how to get the husks off yet!<G> Sharyn natural game [mathmasta1111001] zengirl, what exactly would be the "sweetener", and where would i find it..??? zengirl04 <zengirl04 wrote: To save you from this "episode" ;-) ... here is a simple recipe for coconut milk.1 cup shredded, dried coconut1 teaspoon sweetener3 cups pure waterpinch of salt (this is optional(Blend all ingredients in a blender for 3 minutes. Guest guest
You're right about the stevia, it doesn't take much. You're really lucky to have fresh coconuts in your yard. I'd love to have them fresh and organic. It's been a long time since I've tried to skin a coconut - I only remember it was quite a job. Is it not as time consuming as I remember? Is there a trick? herbal remedies , " Sharyn E. Cerniglia " <sharyn.cerniglia@v...> wrote: > The only sweetener I would use is stevia. Guest guest
I usually use all of the liquid that comes out of the coconut and blend it with about 1/3 to half the coconut meat that comes out of the coconut. Blend for about 2 to 3 minutes, then strain it if you are using like " milk " . If you are using it in a smoothie, i say DONT strain and use it as is. between the " meat and the juice, the resulting " milk " is already quite sweet. Guest guest
Usually we drill 2 holes in them first, and our out the juice into a bowl or cup. Next we take a hammer and give it a couple of good whacks to break the husk. Once you have a couple of manageable pieces i usually take a butter knife or a flat screw driver and wedge between the coconut meat and the husk to remove. It's a kind of a piad, but well worth the energy as the meat is awesome for snacking, backing or ading tot he juice for " milk " Sylvia herbal remedies , " Sharyn E. Guest guest
Thank you, Sylvia! I never thought of getting the juice out and then hacking it to death.<G> But that's definitely a plan! Guest guest
Yes, I'm lucky -- and very appreciative of it! Sylvia just posted a way to get the meat out of the coconut. Will try it and let you know what happens. Sharyn zengirl04 [zengirl04] You're really lucky to have fresh coconuts in your yard. I'd love to have them fresh and organic.
