Guest guest
I girl at work approached me about her little girl having another uti. She asked me what I would suggest since the dr gave the little girl an antibiotic (really strong one) and uti came back in a matter of days. She is now on not as strong antibiotic. I suggested organic cranberry juice diluted with distilled water and limit the amount of sugar intake. The little girl is about 1 year old. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Guest guest
Dear Kathy, Your friend needs to have this checked out immediately. I also had UTI's as a small child and didn't know that that is a symptom of a serious problem. Later on in life I had a lot of these and ignored them - so they went untreated. This year, I am 25... I had kidney failure on the right side and my urologist told me that it is not normal for little girls to have UTI's. They can be damaging if they happen at an early age like that. However there are natural means to handling this. First and foremost you should talk to your friend about Doc Shillington. He has a kidney/bladder cleanse program which is absolutely vital for any kidney or bladder problems and can handle them naturally. The girl needs help now - if she does not get it, it may develop into a kidney infection later on in life. I have had many kidney infections as a result of untreated UTI's. Also - please note - certain antibiotics can damage kidneys. Cipro is one that many people are warning against - it can cause acute kidney failure as a side effect in some patients. Dr Shillington and Organic SOlutions has many totally natural supplements that you can order to get rid of infections and help clean out the urinary system. It is imperative that she get these in order to save the health of her kidneys as an adult. Contact me if you need help - I have been through it all and can tell you exactly how to handle this. First and foremost - NO sugary sodas, pop, etc. She should not have sugar, coffee, chocolate, etc. She should be drinking lots and lots of pure water (not tap), and organic, pure cranberry juice is good but if it is the right kind, meaning not a bunch of other fruit juices mixed in, it will be very bitter and probably the kid will not like drinking it. You can get cranberry pills, this may be better. But definitely tell the mom about this group and have her get Doc Shillington's tape and stuff right away. Guest guest
Mycophages(Penicillins) are to be revered as organically derived compounds. They require serious adherence to the precise timing of dosages. If not you have compounded the virulence of the germs preventing any sound therapeutic intervention within the reason. It would violate 1)temerity for life 2)and it would be outside the ordinant of jurisprudence. You could on the other hand beg an understanding doctor to use agressive combination of the highest order and spectrum. But I don't know if even that would be viable for a undeveloped immunity of a one year old.Hypothetically speaking of course. Guest guest
I had a 17 month lod with the same thing. Cranberry juice is the best thing for her If you can not get cranberry extract or plain cranberries. My kids beg for plain cranberries so it's not hard around here. (Once they bite them they say they look like little " pumpkins " adult-speak = jack-o-lanterns.) Guest guest
You can get an unsweetened cranberry juice, sometimes is is concentrated, and sweeten it with stevia so your daughter will drink it (preferably the green liquid kind because all nutrition is intact and natural stevia has many health benefits) but the white powder will still be okay with a kidney infection. herbal remedies , " Lane Eddington " <goldenpoems@a...> wrote: > > Dear Kathy, > > Your friend needs to have this checked out immediately. Guest guest
The dangers of antibiotics in children (or anyone) is that they kill off the healthy flora in the body. Since she has been on strong antibiotics, make sure she gets a good probiotic (BioK is good) or an active kefir. herbal remedies , " moichaiel " <moichaiel> wrote: > > > Mycophages(Penicillins) are to be revered as organically derived > compounds. They require serious adherence to the precise timing > of dosages. If not you have compounded the virulence of the germs > preventing any sound therapeutic intervention within the reason. > It would violate 1)temerity for life 2)and it would be outside > the ordinant of jurisprudence. > You could on the other hand beg an understanding doctor to use > agressive combination of the highest order and spectrum. But I > don't know if even that would be viable for a undeveloped immunity > of a one year old.Hypothetically speaking of course. > My sincerest regards/Thor. > > > > > > herbal remedies , " kat101962 " <kat964@e...> > wrote: > > > > > > I girl at work approached me about her little girl having another > > uti. Guest guest
Hi Thor, I do not understand a lot of the words in your email, but I do understand that you think antibiotics are a good thing and should be used on UTI's. I think it is important to note that kidneys can be damaged by extensive use of antibiotics. Also, immunity itself can be weakened because antibiotics kill natural intestinal flora. There are so many good, natural antibiotics and probiotics that can kill infections. Garlic, pure and raw, can kill just about everything. Raw honey is a natural antibiotic as well. Then you have Dr Shillington's echinacia which is stronger than just about any echinacia you can get anywhere on the planet. Don't you think these things are better than penicillin? Guest guest
Lane, But don't you know that once you're done taking antibiotics for your UTI and have ruined your kidneys they have drugs for your kidneys too? And when they ruin your liver they have drugs for your liver too! So, you see, taking antibiotics is not a big deal! And once these organs quit working all together.... get them replaced!!!!! And if all this junk makes you infertile.. ADOPT! ~wink~ Candace herbal remedies , " Lane Eddington " <goldenpoems@a...> wrote: > > Hi Thor, > > I do not understand a lot of the words in your email, but I do understand > that you think antibiotics are a good thing and should be used on UTI's. Guest guest
Thor- It is not a judgment or a verdict. This list is for people who want to talk about herbal remedies and other ways that a natural style of living can help heal and nourish the body. That is the goal of this list. It is for people who want to change their way of living and are interested in learning more about herbs and cleansing, and how they can help in changing their lifestyle. Not everyone believes this and that is fine. If you have strong opposing views then maybe this list is not for you. There are plenty of other lists that talk about all kinds of topics out there. I, for one, have strong, positive views regarding herbs, cleansing and other natural approaches from personal experiences. I try to learn more from this list and share with others where I can add value. Nobody is required to be here. I wish you well and I hope you can gain some knowledge from this list and if you don't want to, then I also wish you well. Guest guest
I have only been in this group for very, very short time, but have already learned sooooo much. I have begun to spend hours and hours just reading the articles, recipes and plain catching up. I have come to feel that all of the time that I have not been in this group has been wasted time. I just finished reading several articles on Stevia. I am shocked. As a Kidney Patient, whose mom is a Kidney Patient and diabetic, we should have known about this a long time ago. Thanks to everyone here...especially the founders and moderators. Please keep up the good work.

Guest guest
Hi Roy, I too am a kidney patient... perhaps we could compare notes sometime? I am trying to recover from a serious (genetic) kidney condition and if you ever need help, please let me know.
