Guest guest
1/4 to 1/3 cup of Raw sprouted almonds 1 cup of purified or distilled water Add almonds and water to blender and bldn for 2 minutes. You can drink as is " gritty " (i like mine this way) or you can strain the milk through a super fine sieve or cheese cloth to remove the grit. For smoothies I would keep the grit, if you are using it for cereal or coffee, i would strain. Sprouted almonds are not actually sprouted and are sometimes called soaks. Just put your almonds in a bowl and add enough pure water to cover them and then about 2 inches more. Soak for 12 hours Sylvia herbal remedies , " zengirl04 " <zengirl04> wrote: > > > Sylvia- > > Can you tell me where the recipe is for the Almond Milk? Guest guest
Thank you for this recipe. I haven't been able to find organic almond milk. I also wondered if it would cost less to make my own - it costs $2.49 for a quart of non-organic. It sounds as though it might not cost any more. Thanks again. herbal remedies , " Sylvia " <h10feet> wrote: > > 1/4 to 1/3 cup of Raw sprouted almonds > 1 cup of purified or distilled water > > Add almonds and water to blender and bldn for 2 minutes.
