Hi, I am a massage therapist not an ND but there are some conditions

that really require allopathic meds and you may have a condition that

requires the prescriptions you have been taking. Are you in an area

that has Naturopathic doctors or holistic doctors? It would be best if

you could work with a holistic doctor who knows both allopathic and

alternative medicine and how to combine both most effectively.

I know that inverted poses in yoga help thyroid conditions but I am

not sure if you should do them if you have a goiter. It would be very

important to work with a knowledgeable physician before you start

practicing inverted poses. A good friend of mine relies solely on

alternative meds but she takes her thyroid med regularly, so don't

give it up without good advice!

warm wishes,

Loretta
