Guest guest
I tried everything all kinds of dry eyes drops, nothing worked. The only home remedy method that helped my irritated, itchy dry eyes is organic honey. I dilute a smear of honey with water and apply it on my eyes. Guest guest
My sister has this problem and she had tried every eye medicine on the market even by prescription and nothing helped her for long. I learned about using Flax seed oil in the eyes and told her about it, and she said it relived it immediately. She uses it all the time now. You might try this with the lady you care for. It is only 2 drops in each eye 4 times a day for 10 minutes and then wash the oil off as it causes a film over the eyes. This I understand helps with vision problems also. Guest guest
I take flax seed oil or fish oil capsules. I buy the cheap ones on sale at the corner drugstore. It really works. Before this I was tested at the eye doctor. It was actually a day that my eyes didn't feel too bad. He said he'd never seen anyone whose eyes were as dry as mine. The fish oil really helps. Try it. Guest guest
Im the guilty one, lol. Anyway, I take it orally. At first I took up to 6 capsules a day. I now only take 2 or 3 a day. I believe they are getting better because I started a gluten free diet last November. Good luck and let me know how it goes! Guest guest
Dear Diane, My husband and I are beekeepers so we have lots of honey. Is your suggestion meaning to put the diluted honey into the eye. It says on and I wasn't sure. But if this works, it would indeed be awesome. My eyes are a mess right now they are soooo dry. Drops don't seem to be working as well as I'd like them to. Thanks for the help. Carolyn , Boonight wrote: > > I tried everything all kinds of dry eyes drops, nothing worked. Guest guest
IN MY OPINION, THE HONEY CAN NOT SOLVE THE DRY EYE PROBLEM. DRY EYE IS DUE TO SOME UNIDENTIFIED GENETICAL DISORDER ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE.HOW CAN THE HONEY WILL SET RIGHT THE PROBLEM WHICH LIES IN DEEP ROOT.THE EXTERNAL APPLICATION CAN NOT SOLVE THE DEEP ROOTED PROBLEM.
