Guest guest
My ophthalmologist recommends stimulating the oil glands in the eyelids by blinking hard at least once each hour and rubbing the eyelids either side of the eye (above and below) towards the edges of the lids to " milk them " to encourage the natural oils to flow over the eye surface which helps keep the eyes moist by attracting whatever moisture might be there - without this natural oil the tears, however scant evaporate more quickly. Hydrating the whole body will help all areas including the eyes. Before I was told this I heard that Vitamin C is good for this complaint. Homeopathically other issues would need to be made known. Guest guest
--- How is she doing with her consumption of omega3's? Often , dry eye is caused by a lack of omega 3's. I take care of a 86 year old elderly lady who had this very same problem and I corrected it for her within a matter of two weeks time. Now she makes sure that she ingests her omega3's on a daily basis. Lynn > > MY SISTER AGED 46 IS SUFFERING FROM DRY EYE FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. Guest guest
You might try dabbing a bit of castor oil on your finger and then putting a little on you eye just before bedtime. This is an Ayurvedic remedy.
