Guest guest
REPOSTING Newsletter by Uffe Ravnskov Did you know that the introduction of the low-fat diet was based on speculation only? That no one had ever tested it, neither on patients or healthy people? A few year later the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) Dietary Modification Trial, the largest dietary trial ever conducted was started. The aim was to demonstrate the usefulness of the low-fat paradigm. The surprising result was published last year in JAMA.. On our homepage (_www.thincs.org_ (http://www.thincs.org/) ,click on News) you will find a link to Sandy Szwarc´s comments to the trial.
