I have to use a cell phone in my job. Any safe way? They are getting me a

new one..what brands are the less of the evils? Also, I'm wanting to buy a

house. Is there anyway to see if cell phone or electric towers are nearby? Any

office I might call? Thanx Deena

Hi Deena,

Each manufacturer of cell phones and each distributor of services, i.e.

Verizon, lists the SAR ratings of phones. I just recently upgraded for free on

Verizon per my contract of a free phone every two years. Anyway, go to

www.verizon.com or your vendors website and search under products and look for

the SAR ratings to the head and to the body. The one I purchased had almost the

lowest and I love the phone. It is a Samsung and the top flips open sideways or

the normal way as it has a querty keyboard. I really love the phone. AND you

can buy the little round stick on bugs that diminish the radiation as well.

There are many sites for this. AND for the most part use the speaker phone.

The earphones with an airtube diminish the radiation as well. Happy

listening!!

Hi Deena, One more thing on cell phones. When not in use keep them away from

direct contact with your body. To see if you have a call the cell phone towers

send a signal to your phone every 15 seconds. So you are getting radiation

exposure on a continual basis. Best in a purse, or on your desk or on your car

console, for instance.
