Guest guest
REPOSTED Hello and welcome to the 'A Hummingbirds Guide to Myalgic Encephalomyelitis' e-newsletter for October 2007 I hope this newsletter finds you and yours doing as well as possible. I have a just two new projects to tell you about this month. ----- A new paper/animated video/audio file is available: Problems with 'our' M.E. (or CFS, CFIDS or ME/CFS) advocacy groups - The sheep and the wolves in sheep's clothing This paper looks at the problems with our advocacy groups, and why so many of our groups are not engaged in useful advocacy and what we can do to help change this. These groups and individuals have caused enough needless extra suffering, abuse, neglect and DEATH. What is happening is a human rights travesty on a massive scale. This has to stop. It has to BE stopped. This paper is also available in animated video and audio formats. The theme is: The sheep and the wolves in sheep's clothing. This isn't the first animation I've created, but it is probably the most high tech....although having said that, it is still very low tech relatively. (I don't have any animation programs so I made up my own animation technique as I went along!) It has been really fun to work on something like this again, I also really hope it gives some much needed extra attention to this very important topic. So happy viewing! Plus a big thank you to my sister Claire Bassett for all the artwork in the video.
