Questions about hormone tests/precocious puberty

My daughter, 4 1/2, had some hormone testing on Tuesday. So far the

thyroid test has come back fine but the DHEA-S is high. Supposedly it

should be under 19 but it is at 24. I don't know if that's really high

or just a little high. Does anyone know for children what the actual

rates or however you say it are supposed to be? I really believe she

is in precocious puberty although so far there's no new hair growing.

She did grow 5 inches in 14 months but that was between age 3 and 4 and

now she is 4 1/2. She's had underarm oder (bad BO) for about 2 mos.

now. Anyone know much about this? I have researched a lot and know

that high levels of DHEA-S can be caused by tumors or virulity (sp?) in

girls or could be caused by precocious puberty and also that it can

cause aggressiveness, which is definitely true in our daughter.

Thanks for any help.

Has her estrogen, progesterone and testosterone been tested? How about her

cortisol?

Do you use organic foods? Does she eat soy? Does she eat non-organic dairy

products?

Best,

Michelle
