Your Breath In his book, Death Begins in the Colon, Dr. B. Jensen

reveals the direct and indirect effects intestinal toxins have on the

digestive organs, heart and blood vessels, nervous system, eyes,

skin, muscles, joints, genito-urinary and reproductive organs, as

well as general disorders and disturbances of

nutrition… If these toxins

disturb health throughout the body, what do they do when they

circulate through the gums? Unhealthy gums can cause bad

breath. Even worse, with so much putrifying rot going on in

the large intestines, toxins go through the blood stream to

overburden the liver - and a good deal of the more volatile

of them are eliminated through the lungs – causing

halitosis. Using mouthwash helps only

for a little while. It’s like patting on perfume instead of taking a

shower. For these … and many other good health

reasons, we feel that taking a good fiber cleanser daily is where

good nutrition should start. Jerome Mittelman, DDS,
