Guest guest
My daughter has drunk soy milk for about 2 1/2 years now after lots of digestive problems. (she's 4 1/2) Now she has begun to have BO under her arms and I'm worried about the hormones in soy (was worried about that BEFORE the smelly armpits). Her doctor is checking her for early- onset puberty. Anyhow, I am starting to replace her much-loved soy milk with rice milk but someone informed me that the foil inside the rice-milk containers is not safe. Is this true? Tonight I experimented in making homemade rice milk. It's not all that difficult at all but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or experience in fortfying the milk. I used long-grain brown rice but there's no calcium or Vit. D as in the fortified rice milk you can buy. Any ideas?
Guest guest
I'm sorry but I can't imagine that the little bit of foil in the container of rice milk is going to hurt anything, after all it's under thousands of food items. I'd worry a heck of a lot more about the soy that she dran in the past! Good that you have stopped her drinking it. Also, the plain Almond milk is good as well as the Rice. I use both from time to time. Tonight's top picks. What will you watch tonight? Preview the hottest shows on TV.
