Guest guest
Jamie- Here is a page that has a bunch of links that explain what is going on with fluoride. I am sure a Google search will return you numerous good sites. It is sometimes toughest to convince the ones we love of the truth, but keep trying you will get through. http://www.mercola.com/article/links/fluoride_links.htm Rob Jamie Lynn [jalynned]Monday, April 11, 2005 12:26 PMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - fluorideHello Everyone. I am wondering about fluoride. Yesterday I bought some natural toothpaste and my bf refuses to use it because it does not contain fluoride. "I believe in fluoride" - his exact words! But I don't have any information to tell him about why fluoride isn't necessary, other than it's just a commonly held assumption that it is. I'm going to do a Google search, but is there anything anyone can think of off the top of the head? Thanks!JamieFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
Hi Jamie, From what I know, any added fluoride is of an inorganic type which your body can NOT use!! This is so in water and in toothpaste! It's also a toxin!! See http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig4/desanto1.html for further information, as well as the references articles. love Lisa - Jamie Lynn herbal remedies Monday, April 11, 2005 5:26 PM Herbal Remedies - fluorideHello Everyone. Guest guest
Dear Jennifer, I beg to differ with you. The most common fluoride added to city water nowadays is Hydro fluoro silicic acid, which is highly toxic, and will actually destroy teeth and bones. It also has the "drug" effect of calming one down = makes zombies. The only reason the cities can get away with this is that it kills you too slowly to be measured scientifically. Type in Hydro fluoro silicic acid into your Google search engine and you'll get an eyefull. So today most all of city water is treated with it along with a cocktail of other chemicals. So if your boyfriend cooks, eats, or cleans his teeth with water from the faucet he is indeed receiving ample amount of fluoride to prevent tooth decay, unless he is a sugar aholic! Fluoride is available naturally in the diet as calcium and sodium fluoride. It is sodium fluoride that is added to many cities water. It is a commonly held belief that fluoride is not essential to humans. It is found only in trace amounts in the body and most of that is in bones and teeth. Fluoride has no known functions other than strengthening teeth and bones. Most seafood contains fluoride too.Toxicity from fluoride is definitely a potential problem. At a concentration at about 1 ppm to effectively reduce dental decay without producing side effects. Concentrations greater than 2 ppm, fluoride can cause mottling, discoloration and pitting of the teeth. At 8 to 20 ppm, initial tissue sclerosis will occur, especially in the bones and joints, which can cause arthritic symptoms. at over 20 ppm, much damage can occur, including decreased growth and cellular changes, especially in the metabolically active organs such as the liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, and reproductive organs. There are many other concerns about fluoride toxicity, including bone malformations and cancer. On Monday, April 11, 2005, at 09:45AM, Jamie Lynn <jalynned wrote:>><<Original Attached>>Jennifer Walker Brewerwww.homepage.mac.com/jwbrewerI have known many Zen Masters; all of them parrots. What we see in another being is a reflection of our own level of evolution.Treat everyone like God in drag!Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
Maybe the use is more regional since my local research does not show this being used in my area. Although I am never surprised by the additional chemicals that are approved for use on the general population. Guest guest
I saw the dentist today, preceded by 2 appointments to get my teeth cleaned. Gee...talk about hard sell! Fluoride rinse, fluoride toothpaste, fluoride treatment as part of the cleaning (I declined, and didn't pick up as instructed). I anticipated an argument. The dentist did her bit, and told the assistant she was painting my molars with fluoride because they're hard to reach with a tooth brush. Got some anyway. She's given me fluoride toothpaste before, which I dumped in the garbage. I got some Crest toothpaste the other day, given to me, dumped that. I'm in a wheelchair right now, and see her because her office is accessible, and would like a biological dentist, but am restricted, physically, so much right now, I can't go looking. The dental office must have Stocks or is getting kickbacks (free vacations, maybe, like doctors get). Fluoride is in her every conversation. Guest guest
I took my children to the dentist a few months ago. I told the hygenist (?sp) not to give them the standard fluoride treatment or polishing. She was very angry at me. She asked why? I told her it was bad for them. She told me, " Flouride isn't bad unless it is ingested! " I stood my ground and because of it they didn't get flossed either.. (lol). As she was saying that to me I thought " HELLOOOOOOOOO, it's in our drinking water!! " If they know it is bad to be ingested why don't they do something.....
