Guest guest
Moderator's Note: Sounds like you have good intentions to help her in the way you want to help her.. What does she want? If she does not want your help on your terms but rather hers- can you respect that and still be of loving service? ---------- Hello, I have a friend that has colon cancer. She is weak and the tumor is such that she sits or (mostly) lays down most of the day. She walks very bowlegged because of the tumor and the tumor is in her vagina also. She has to have it drained because she had trouble urinating. She just returned from the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Chicago and they basically told her they would give her treatment that has 5% chance of reducing the tumor and 40% chance of making it worse. What do you think she decided to do? She is home now and is thinking of going to Freeport, Bahamas for Dendric Cell Therapy. I am pretty aware of natural healing but do not know much about this. I help her occasionally. She can be demanding. I fixed food at her request when I was there. She ate a salad, medium glass of fresh veggie juice, a banana with nut butter and 1 1/2 pieces of toast with 2 eggs. I don't know if she ate anything else all day or not. I would like to help her. I think that type of diet, which would probably be pretty good for an average person but I think she needs to eat a much more alkaline diet, a lot more veggie juices and better food combining. I mentioned something about getting a consortium of people to make a real good diet for her but she kind of resisted and insinuated that her diet was good but she would like for people to bring her food. My time is valuable and so would other people's time. If I do this how can I present it so I could be a " food czar " and have control of the diet, etc.? I do not want to be a servant but I do want results. What she is doing is not working or she would not be in the shape she is in. She also tends to be " anal retentive " , which is related to colon cancer. My wife does EFT so I thought that would help also. Also does anyone else have recommendations for diet, supplements, etc.? Any other therapies to try or places to go.
