Guest guest
Hello, My name is Patrick Hickey and I live in Sedona, Arizona. I finally turned 65 on May 21. Since I was in my mid-twenties, I've had gradually increasing reactions to increasing numbers of chemicals. In 1999 I was diagnosed with MCS, though I had diagnosed myself years before that. Since doctor's offices and medical facilities caused bad reactions, I've avoided them like the plague. Also to avoid more chemical exposures, I've used supplements and the holistic approach to health and the healing process. Two days before my last birthday, my pulse jumped to 189 from 62, then after a couple of weeks dropped to 145 where it stayed while I spend 3 months at three doctor's offices and two cardiologists. They couldn't find any cause or other health problem, but controlled it with Varapamil. All this cost over $8,000, but at least I have the confidence that comes from being an unlikely candidate for a heart attack or other health condition. From the start, I believed the cause was from a pesticide exposure aggravated by accumulation of thallium, lead, mercury, arsenic, and who knows what. Like it shorted out my electric system, or something. Since I lacked funds for the services of a doctor of natural medicine, I've researched and pursued my own natural healing program, which included oral EDTA chelation. Many people have told me that they believe the oral EDTA is ill-advised (I started it two months ago, and the rest of the supplements a month ago). A week ago my pulse suddenly dropped from 145 to 105 in one day, two days later, it dropped to 82, and finally back to my normal of 62 where it has remained. Sorry for the long post, but I am still looking for more ways to regain health. I have also lost two pounds a week since May 21, totaling 35 pounds. I'd like to lose another 20 at least, while retaining my muscle mass. I'm looking forward to learning and understanding holistic health from all of you. Warm regards, Patrick Hickey http://picasaweb.google.com/JayPatrickHickey
