Guest guest
clip: And what Coca Cola wants, Coca Cola will probably eventually get. I'd imagine that they're large-enough and powerful-enough to influence the sugar/HFCS industry lobby (after all, Coca Cola is one of their largest customers) to the point where they will cease their objections. Gail: Wasn't that before they switched to high fructose corn syrup? I haven't had a cola in maybe 20 years, (save maybe one swallow annually at a friends just to remember what it tastes like.) So I have not checked the ingredients label lately. Even so, I would not know how much sugar use they have reduced by using the HFS. We are either going to become a police state with no say and then the FDA has NO restrictions in parenting our pallate (God forbid that scenario) or they are going to continue to be so assine and ricdulous to the point that even mainstream that believes them and trusts them is going to wake up and say " Enough, already " Unless of course so many of us are zombied out on prozacs by what ever name that we just keep sliding further and further into the dark hole of faux foods and pretend health. What we need is to use sugar for making electricity, aspartame as our ant killer, and stevia as our food sweetner. g
