Seeking TCM, ND Referrals, Advice on Seriously Enlarged Spleen.

Hey All,

 

My spleen is so enlarged it is now pushing against other organs and

recently my diaphram, lungs, causing a dry cough and now pain in the

left breast, side of ribs which is worsened when I lay down. Recently

I was in the hospital for two weeks and they ran every test from CT

scan to ultrasound to bone marrow, negative on everything.

Conventional medicine has no other option besides removal. I've been

researching TCM[Traditional ] success with the liver

and spleen and also detoxificiation such as liver flushes... my liver

is also at the beginning stage of cirrhosis, supposedly from Hep B,

but that was 17 years ago and have repeatedly been told it is not

active and enzymes okay, anyway some toxicity there, whatever the

cause. Also, I have a history of low platelletes and antibodies

against my own platelettes, which is a condition called ITP or

Idiopathic[unknown cause] Thrombocytopenia. This apparently means to

spleen eats up platelettes I have occasionally had some serious GI

bleeds from esophogeal verises, about six times over 12 years,

requiring multiple transfusions.

 

I went back to the emergency room yesturday and spent 10 hours there

and then came home, nothing they could do, and my doctors who were on

my most recent case are not on-call on the weekends.

 

I really need some quick advice and/or referrals to a TCM doctor

and/or ND [Naturopathic Doctor] as I'm not sure how much longer I can

last like this. I live in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County,

California.
