Breast and gynecologic cancer risk is directly associated with the length of time one is exposed to estrogen over a lifetime. The difference in cycle time is attributed to ingestion of endemic phytoestrogens like organic soy, naturally present in the Asian diet. Phytoestrogens block the receptors for more potent estrogens like estradiol, estrone, and estriol. If you take an Asian female, and bring her to live in the USA, her cycle will often change, since these phytoestrogens are removed from the diet. Best, Lisa Hi Lisa, Obviously, there is something missing in your assessment of the preceding essay which was posted simply to warn those who have allowed cancer cells to permeate their bodies to radically change their existing diet and lifestyle in a way that will eliminate abnormal growths from their system. Jane Plant's experience enumerates in an easy to read free flowing dialogue that unless these changes in dietary regimen occur within a very short time frame, cancer die-off will not accur and cancer growth will be accelerated. Her emphasis lies in the fact that in addition to all the other harmful additives in dairy, there is an abundance of naturally occuring sugars and yeast as well. A specific posting appeared earlier on this forum confirming our previous suspicions that " Cancer Loves Sugar " . This is good reasoning and the primary reason for eliminating dairy sugars such as lactose from our diets. Even the presence of minimal amounts of sugar 'spurs' cancer growth. Due to the availability of processed foods with nonfat dry milk and dairy enzymes in their preparation it becomes necessary to take a second look at the possibility that this is a contributing factor in cancer growth. As Jane vividly enumerates, she endured several episodes of cancer recurrance prior to recognition of the lactose/sugar/cancer connection . There has been a lot of rhetoric in the scientific community on the subject and experts agree that there is research to indicate that most of us have cancer cells silently lurking in our bodies. To those who are actively fighting the disease this timely information may be the difference between life and death. Jane is merely sharing her personal path to victory over cancer in the hopes that it will motivate others to follow her example. As the majority of the advice we obtain is purely speculation, on the other hand this is a well respected scientists personal success story regarding her victorious fight with cancer. After all, she has succeeded in conquering once and for all this most gruesome disease which is rapidly soaring to become the #1 health threat of all time.
