Guest guest
I found this article in another group and thought that it would be helpful here. Below I also put some info on acidosis from my book " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " by Phyllis Balch CNC. Cheers Devon The second report available right now is The pH Nutrition Guide to Acid / Alkaline Balance by Jack Challem, which lists acidic vs. alkaline foods and explains the health impacts of each. http://www.newstarget.com/Report_acid_alkaline_pH_0.html Acidosis -Symptoms include frequent sighing, insomnia, water retention, recessed eyes, arthritis, migraine headaches, abnormally low blood pressure, acid or strong perspiration, dry hard stools, foul smelling stools followed by burning of the anus, alternating diarrhea and constipation, difficulty swallowing, halitosis, a burning sensation in the mouth or under the tongue, sensitivity of the teeth to vinegar adn acidic fruits, and bumps on the tongue or the rood of the mouth. Some contributing factors: liver and adrenal disorders, stomach ulcers, improper diet, malnutrition, obesity, ketosis, anger, stress, fear, anorexia, toxemia, fever, and the excessive consumption of niacin and vitamin C. Recommendations: -Eat a diet of 50% raw foods -Chew food slowly -Avoid animal protein -Reduce Vitamin C fro a few weeks as it leads to acidosis -Practice deep breathing
