our future.

Help us to fight the Security and Prosperity Partnership

 

Sign our petition https://secure.greenparty.ca/spp.php against the

Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America and send a message to

Stephen Harper, George W. Bush and Mexican President Felipe de Jesús Calderón.

Tell them that Canadians are not interested in losing their identity, or

sovereignty in this proposed North American economic and security union.

 

Donate to the Green Party of Canada, a Federal Party which is making the SPP

an integral part of its election platform. We believe in fair trade. Free

trade agreements like NAFTA have eroded Canadian sovereignty and threatened our

democracy, civil rights, social safety net, environmental regulations, food

safety and our energy and water security.

 

The SPP – also known as NAFTA Plus – is more of the same, but worse! Click

Where: St. Paul University, 223 Main Street, Ottawa. Room 203, Guigues Hall.

 

Registration is free but we suggest bringing a brown-bag lunch.

 

Speakers will include Green Party leader Elizabeth May, International Trade

critic Dr. Janet Eaton and Ralph Pentland, former director of water planning

and management with the Canadian Department of the Environment. Members of the

Green Party of the US will be on hand to offer their support.
