Guest guest
Does anyone know how long it takes to recover from the effects of a vitamin D deficiency. I'm hoping they are reversible anyway. I've been doubling my calcium with D and taking my multi vitamin with D3. I had already doubled it once when it easied my bone pain then my doctor doubled it again an added sun bathing. I've been doing this a couple of weeks an haven't noticed my legs getting any stronger. And yes I've been walking to help build up the muscles. I have Multiple Sclorosis an had Breast Cancer, both associated with the deficiency. The Arimidex I take for cancer I guess caused Osteoporsis but it could have been the D. I should be over most of the side effects of the arimidex but I'm just getting weaker. Thats the reason for the D test, well that and the fact that the Boniva for osteoprosis isn't helping much. Anyone know? I'm about at the end of my road. I've tried Kefir, Kombucha, and take a handfull of vitamins. I've added magnesium resently but I don't think thats a problem. My husband puts epson salts on our garden an I eat a ton of tomatoes. Thanks,Barbara
