Gathering Stories of Specific Incidences of Loss of Freedom in Med Dec Making

I am gathering stories of specific individuals and families who over

the last 3-5 years have been challenged with loss of freedom in their

medical decision making and health professionals who have been

persecuted for expanding their professional practices to include

complementary and alternative therapies.

 

Please respond directly to me with information of who, what, where,

and when (and contact information if available).

 

Examples of the types of issues that may have arisen are (1)

intimidation to choose conventional cancer treatment and not seek

alternative therapies (or having child taken from parents when

parents hesitate or refuse chemotherapy or radiation); (2) forced

immunization or having child removed from home or parents intimidated

by public health officials; (3) physicians and other health care

professionals being threatened with disciplinary actions by the state

medical board when no patient has been harmed for their use of an

unconventional or alternative therapy in their practice; (4)

intimidation by school officials or health professions to medicate a

child for the purpose of school attendance (for ADD or other

behavioral condition), and/or (5) other types of interactions with

public health, medical, or government officials in which a family or

individual felt forced, cohersed, or threatened into a certain

medical decision or away from their own personal medical path.

 

Again, I am looking for specific stories from the past 3-5 years that

are verifiable.
