Poor Circulation may be Raynaud's

Hi, You friend really needs to be tested for something called Raynaud's

Phenomenon. Raynaud's phenomenon is when there are blood vessel spasms in the

fingers, toes, ears or nose, usually brought on by exposure to cold. That

sounds exactly like what your friend is going thru. She runs several miles, so

I do not think her circulation is poor. Raynaud's phenomenon and Raynaud's

disease, a similar disorder, may be associated with autoimmune disorders such

as , lupus , scleroderma , etc. Get an experienced, top notch, board

certified, physician ( regular old American Medical Association guy...sigh,

they do

have their uses :)) to work her up ..blood work, urine, etc. You must be

certain of whether this is the phenomenon or the disease, and she MUST also be

tested for any associated immune disorders. Cant stress the importance of

that enough. Once you have the proper diagnosis, then you can seek

alternative means of treatment. There are nutrients that can help greatly,

however if

there is an autoimmune component, as in lupus, immunostimulating protocols

can exacerbate the disease, and precipitate a crisis. You need to get an exact

diagnosis, and work from there. Kind regards, Lisa
