Thank you for this Shan, I thought I was feeding my 7 year old Ridgeback a good

product until I read that article, I've now changed his diet to a holistic

product called Burns (U.K.) which is produced in accordance with a Veterinarian

called John Burns in Wales.

Also, I found the article on glands most interesting - aren't we complex beings

!

Ray.

Hello Ray

I have come to the conclusion that our pets as well as ourselves have

all been conned etc into accepting as good what we see advertised on

TV. Or maybe we have been just trusting our governments had our best

interests at heart. Just remember that they put aditives in pet foods

too, their health in no more important to 'the powers that be', then

your health or mine. Have you read for example:

Good luck! Shan

And our pets can't speak for themselves so we must be vigilant for

them in order to insure their longevity and good health.

Thank you for that Shan ... A very interesting site, I have been a member of our

group since 2001 but I *still* learn something new everyday or so ...

Processed convenience food is responsible for dis-ease and pre-mature death in

the 'civilised' world today, there is no doubt about that.

And yes - even our doggies & moggies (cat's) can fall victim to that - if we're

not careful.

I'm 55 and am fortunate enough not to visit or even be registered with a GP (MD)

and I don't take my Ridgeback to the Veterinary practice, they seem to dish out

the same mad-meds that are prescribed for us - anti-biotics +

anti-inflammatory's etc., etc., etc.

be thy medicine >>>>> Be thine own Physician.

Good health - Ray.
