Guest guest
Hi Lisa, What do they attribute the swelling to (heart, kidney, etc)? Also, is she overweight? Best, Lisa
Guest guest
>>...My aunt is experienceing this for a while now, and has been to various >> doctors and nothing they have done for the last year and a half has >> helped her. Hi Lisa, You say that " nothing they have done for the last 1 1/2 years has helped her " . That means she was diagnosed. What was her exact diagnosis...what was she treated for? What parameters were abnormal( blood, urine, scan, physical exam)? Have her get a copy of ALL her records ( you may encounter a bit of resistance there), so you know exactly what you are dealing with. You need to know what was normal, and what was abnormal. Once you have a ballpark idea of the diagnosis ( I am a huge proponent of alternative med, but allopathics are great for initial diagnoses, I must admit) , then you can approach it orthomolecularly, or alternatively, for treatment modalities. You mention that her legs, ankles, and feet swell. Do other body parts swell...abdomen, eye area, etc? There is clinical significance between edema and anasarca ( generalized body edema). When is the swelling at it's worst? Is she on medications, or has she been on medications, or been treated for cancer( some chemotherapeutics can give long term capillary leaks) ..... they cause effusion of fluid into the extracapillary space. You need to provide more info to get help. You received some good replies on the list, but in any medical approach, you cant address a problem until you know the specifics of what you are dealing with. " Swollen legs, feet, and ankles " is not enough to work with. Best, Lisa ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
