Natural Animal World Convention

Announces Speakers

June 14, 2007—Animal Talk Naturally in conjunction with the American

Veterinary Naturopathic Association (AVNA) is pleased to announce the speakers

for the

first annual Natural Animal World Convention: Inspiring Minds. Empowering

Choices. Integrating Ideas., taking place online September 7 – 9, 2007.

“Our speakers are veterinarians, animal health care providers, published

authors, media personalities and in all cases have animal well being and

education

at the core of their message,†explains Kim Bloomer, President & CEO of

Animal Talk Naturally. “We have relied upon their expertise and input as we

put

our program together and we consider them partners in the success of our

convention.â€

One such partner is Hugh H. Bassham, D.V.M. who is presenting a workshop

titled, †The Total Health Challenge for Our Animals " .

The convention, an online education platform, is offering continuing

education credits (CEUs) for the three day event and promises to be a bridge not

only

for natural animal health and welfare; it offers support for the business side

of animal caregivers as well.

“The goal of the convention is to provide a broad base of education on

natural pet care in a format that allows a large number of our community to

participate,†says Bloomer.

Bloomer and business colleague Jeannie Thomason, co-host of Animal Talk

Naturally and owner of The Whole Dog, secured the CEUs from the AVNA, a

co-founder

in the event. “Offering CEUs online is key,†believes Thomason. “Getting

credit for attending classes in the convenience of your home or office allows

for a more conversational and practical approach in learning new materials in

addition to the benefit of networking with other professionals for support and

exchange of ideas.â€

About Hugh H. Bassham, D.V.M

Dr Hugh H. Bassham, is a 1963 graduate of Auburn University College of

Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation he served 4 years in the U.S. Army as a

military veterinarian, 3 of those years in Europe(Germany). Following military

service he was on staff as an Instructor at the University of Georgia College of

Veterinary Medicine for 1 1/2 years before returning home to southern Georgia to

join his father, and later his brother, in the family veterinary practice.

Dr. Bassham has conducted nutritional research, co-authored several papers, s

poken at national and international conventions, and written one book, " The

Search for Total Health. " He is a member of the Georgia Veterinary Medical

Association and the AVNA and currently works for the Georgia Department of

Agriculture.
