Warning: This is moderately graphic...

I'm wondering if anyone can shed light on an issue I'm having. I'm

having pain during bowel movements and have redness, large lumps, and

irritation around my anus. The doctor said I had a yeast infection and

treated it with 3 doses of Diflucan but I don't think that it has

cleared up. I have a Doctor Appointment with a Gastroenterologist in

2 weeks so they will take a better look than my primary care

physician. I really hope this whole thing is just still yeast and not

something more sinister.

Are there some things I can be doing in the mean time to alleviate some

of this? I've been putting lotrimin cream on the area. I've also been

taking acidopholus as well.

I'd appreciate any input you have.

Thank you so much.

Hi Paula

Thankyou for being so open as to share that :)

May your healing be quick and effective !

Suggest you research the Benefits of Coconut Oil.

Using organic virgin coconut oil, it can be eaten quite liberally, 3

tablespoons a day in various enjoyable ways.

It can also be applied topically, rubbed on the skin externally.

Read up on it, there is plenty of info about Coconut Oils Benefits on

the net.... then try it !!!

Good Luck

Ric

Paula,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. My best wishes for your healing journey.

Here are some great sites to check out in regards to your yeast problem:

www.healingnaturallybybee.com

Ck out her site...She also has a you can join.

Good info on the good fats that need to be in your diet.

Lots of raw organic butter, coconut oil, cod liver oiI, etc... I also like

avocados, hemp seed

www.bodyecologydiet.com

Great info on cultured veggies, young green coconut kefir (very healing for

liver, minerals, live probiotics, etc) food combining for pH balance...yeast

keeps the body in an acidic state.

There are also, one for autistic children, but a lot to learn

from them for yeast infections and also a antiviral group for those that can't

seem to heal.

Also some great products.

Minerals tend to be lacking, ocean veggies and added minerals are very

helpful. Magnesium helps and is needed. That will also help you if you are

constipated and getting hemorrhoids. I like CALM or MagChlor

Epsom salt in warm water to soak in for no longer than 20mins helps as well.

Diet is key here and avoid all sugar, yeast, wheat, gluten...

Do a food elimination diet for possible allergies.

get a lot of healthy fats (Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon is another

good book also ck out Weston A Price)

cleanse the colon, then the liver

take extra minerals and live probiotics

www.drrons.com

has a lot of great products and the best cod liver oil with Xfactor. There is

also a good yeast product and live probiotic.

Olive Leaf Extract works nice and keeps the good bacteria around.

www.organicpharmacy.com has a good organic brand.

I hope this is helpful and the best of luck to you.

Blessings,

Tara

hi Paula,

I'm sorry but according to my own experience such symptoms have

nothing to do with yeast. I also took anti-fungals on the

recommendation of a naturopath who didn't have proper lab proof, and

it not only " didn't work " but was a disaster, felt like I was still

metabolizing the stuff until kingdom come.

What you write has more to do with food allergy. Cutting out wheat

and milk products might be a help. Vitamin B6 is also good for hems.

I'm doing veggie juice these days: mainly carrot, parsley and

cabbage. Even I steer away from supplements bcause of my difficulty

with metabolizing filler.
