Guest guest
This report is extremely vague as to what type of vitamins were involved, synthetic or food-based? Also the exact dosage used and other factors(such as what other type of medication, life style, toxins, etc., these patients were exposed to during the same period of time) were not reported. Overall the report seems biased to me! In my own case, I tend to go with the old traditional teachings... as much as possible. This means that I am suspicious of anything that is processed to the point that it will not be affected by microbes or consumed by other living things... that's my cardinal rule! I think that body, mind and spirit must be in harmony and that there is a certain natural hierarchy in this that most people are not willing to adhere. This leads to many imbalances which we term dis-ease. If you examine most disease processes what you see is a correction taking place aiming towards achieving balance. In some cases, the total disintegration of the body may serve to balance a much larger disharmony! There are some who think that humans are the main source of disharmony to the planet... The Earth has a fever, bees are disappearing, genocide goes on everyday, the suffering of living creatures is unbearable yet the insanity continues, perhaps our time is up and the much prophesied correction is forthcoming.... he, he, he Think about, if the naked ape became extinct, would any other creature really miss them!? Guest guest
This study reminds me of the one that found that one in nine women will get breast cancer by age 85. That's not exactly it, though. Of women alive at age 85, one in 9 will have, or have had, breast cancer. Breast cancer comes more often to older women. Now, of men who take good supplements, maybe more of them will have prostate problems than men who don't take good supplements. Maybe the ones who didn't take good supplements died off of other things before they had a chance to develop prostate problems. Live long enough, you're probably going to have some kind of problems.
