Dear Members,

My son who is 17 months old fell in the bathroom on 6th May,2007. He

was taken for a bath and after giving him the bath he was put on the

commot(western style pot) seat so that he may be dried. By the time

my wife could have picked the towel, he fell down.

There after he is getting slight jerks on his head. It started with

about 7/ 8 jerks per day (which we noticed). The doctor gave some

pain releiving gel for local application but that gave no relief. We

have got his CT Scan done - its normal. We have also got his EEG test

done which is also normal, but his head jerks continue. Our

Pediatrician asked us to consult a Pediatric Neurologist. This

Pediatric Neurologist wants us to get the EEG performed again. We are

going tomorrow for the same.

I hope that the learned and experienced members would share there

experience in such a case and I would also request the doctors in the

forum to please comment on the treatment.

Thanks and regards,

Tejsambhava

Have you considered taking him to a chiropractor who is well-versed in

pediatrics?

Arnica is traditionally used for bruising, both homeopathically as a potency

say 12x - 30C and topically as an ointment and Hypericum is also used

traditionally for nerve damage with the same potencies. It sounds as if he

has bruising causing swelling which is pinching a nerve somewhere or the

muscles are bruised and causing the movements in his head - these

homeopathic remedies may help him especially is combined with the osteopath

or chiropractic assessment as already recommended

Best,

Jane
