I have been using a homeopathic nasal spray called Sinus Buster since

April 4th, and my sinuses have been doing really well on it. It was

recommended by a compounding pharmacist whose newsletter I to,

so I decided to give it a try when my sinuses started acting up this

spring. The Sinus Buster Allergy Formula contains natural hot pepper

extract (Capsaicin), Eucalyptus, Nettle, and Grapefruit Seed Extract,

among other things.

I've been using it 3X per day for the last 3 weeks--the beauty of it is

that it is non-addictive and you can use it for as long as you need to,

unlike products like Afrin. It gives short-term relief, as well as

long-term relief, in that after using it regularly for 2 weeks, " most

users will notice a major reduction in the occurrence of allergy

symptoms. " This has definitely been my experience, my symptoms (severe

sinus headache and nasal congestion) are much less frequent and severe

now after 3 weeks of use.

You can read more about Sinus Buster here:

I am no way affiliated with this company--just a person sharing info

about a product I have found helpful in response to a request for help.

Visit mannatech.com

They have all sorts of great stuff, but for allergies they have a

product called " Manna-C " . It works wonders! By the way, Vitamin C is

a natural antihistamine. I have been able to get by this spring

simply taking a couple extra Vitamin Cs.

I have taken Stinging Nettle for years now. I don't take it everyday,

rather I " start " taking it around late March until about late July (my allergy

season).

I used to have really bad hay fever. Stinging Nettle does work, but does

NOT work overnight. It takes a while to work--about 2-3 weeks?. I took the

capsules (bought at Whole Foods). About one capsule 2 to 3 times per day, with

or without food, didn't matter really.

Just make sure to buy Stinging Nettle, as with all your herbs, from a

reputable company (I trust what they sell at Whole Foods Markets).

I've had the same problem.Like you stinging nettle works during the

day.Butter milk is also an old time remeady for hay fever but it must be active

culture. Also you might want to check for hiden food allergies. There is some

reseach out there that shows people who treat their food allergies ,their

respiratory allergies decrease. I have found it to be helpful to use a good air

filter with a negative ion genarator.
