Guest guest
Urine Therapy Treatments http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Resort/1187/urinetreatments.htm A mixture of potato- and sulphur-powder, mixed with heated, old urine helps against hair loss. One should rub this mixture into the scalp; this slows down loss of hair (calf's gall can be added if necessary). One can best heal injuries to the eyes with honey dissolved in the lightly boiled urine from a young man. One should wash the eyes as often as possible with this fluid. All kinds of throat inflammation can be helped by gargling with urine to which a bit of saffron has been added. Trembling hands and knees can be helped by washing and rubbing one's own warm urine into the skin directly after one has urinated. In the beginning stages of dropsy, one should drink one's own morning urine on an empty stomach for a prolonged period of time. This also helps against jaundice. Guest guest
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn. But that sounds really quite disgusting. ________________________________ On Behalf Of surpriseshan2 Sunday, April 22, 2007 4:23 PM MCS-Canada Urine Therapy Treatments Urine Therapy Treatments http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Resort/1187/urinetreatments.htm <http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Resort/1187/urinetreatments.htm> A mixture of potato- and sulphur-powder, mixed with heated, old urine helps against hair loss. Guest guest
Once upon a time, people believed these things. I've even heard of urinating on feet to kill athlete's foot which is utterly ridiculous since candida is IN the urine many times. And if this then babies in diapers wouldn't get the yeast diaper rashes since their bottoms are covered in urine most of the time. Urine therapies are not only disgusting but a risk to health given that urinating is the means to remove TOXINS from the body. It's completely contrary to nature. Guest guest
I have seen urine therapy clear up athlete's feet when nothing else would. Urine is very sterile and there have been people who, in desperate situations have had to drink their own urine in order to stay hydrated. While, I personally think it would be difficult to drink, it makes perfect sense when you realize what constitutes urine. Guest guest
Trouble is there are practitioners on Ayurveda sites who are deeply respected by everyone including myself who advocate it - but in the West it is totally unacceptable - if this is how things can be successfully treated then it obviously has been & still is a successful form of treatment - perhaps it is a purely individual thing - both for practitioner and for the patient - however there are Spiritual Masters both in the East and the West who strongly advise against it. Guest guest
RE: Urine Therapy . . In indigenous cultures, Poison arrows and such frequently use feces to contaminate and make something poison and never use 'urine' because it is relatively sterile. I have two close friends who have used Urine therapy to facilitate healing in themselves when conventional methods of healing did not work for them. I have tried to envision it and I just can't for me. .. .Good thing I don't need it. . I cannot at this time even contemplate it. but it Definitely DID work for them. Guest guest
In my experience, there are many healing practioners as well as lay folk in the West who have used the ancient and modern therapies of urine, human and other mammals, most successfully for a broad range of conditions and circumstances. There are many books available now and there is much on the internet to show it's practical and excellent uses. There is a lot of ignorance and puritanical bias against these practices, so most folks and practicioners keep their mouths closed about it until they know who they are dealing with, and if they are open to some education about it. It is rather surprising to me that folks on such a list as ours should have such closed opinions about alternative practices that others have used for so long so well! Guest guest
I am still trying to get my mind around trying this, actually. I do believe it is very effective, and since it so inexpensive too -- it is something I can afford that is worth trying . But it will be hard. However, I have learnt over the years that it depends on how much their health means to them what people will try and do. This last year I have been making getting my health back my main priority and it has made a big difference. I have 5 times as much energy as I did a year ago, and don't intend on stopping until I am better. blessings Shan Re: Urine Therapy Treatments Posted by: " Michael PhoenixRising " gandolph_4u gandolph_4u Wed Apr 25, 2007 1:00 pm (PST) RE: Urine Therapy . . Guest guest
Hi, I don't think my post got through about this. I hope this one does because this book is really something... The best book on the urine subject is The Water Of Life, by John W Armstrong written in 1944, way before our information age could be contemplated outside of science fiction. The author, like many of us, had incurable diseases and got to the end of his tether and finally took responsibility for his health by going on urine fasts. He cured himself, and then became a urine therapist and relates numerous cures in the book ranging from the common cold to luekemia. Take it as you will. Love, Kaetie
