Guest guest
Dear Melinda, For what it's worth, I think everything is related to diet. If you get desparate and all else fails, go to www.hacres.com and check out the Hallelujah Raw Foods diet. Check the testimonials on the site and then get a juicer and gradually transition unto the diet. It works !! There are too many things in the SAD (standard American Diet) that are toxic to the body - and like myself, we are addicted to cooked food - where all the vital nutrients are killed by 'high heat,' microwave, etc. etc. Blessings and good health, Mary Lou Melinda <angeloramon wrote: Hello and good morning, I need any information on any natural treatments for Aklosing Spondylitis. Guest guest
Mary and Melinda: I would be careful to ensure carbohydrate foods are left out of a diet that attempts to correct the bowel; this includes soaked grains and some sprouted grains promoted on hacres.com. I understand that it takes several to many days for the sprout to convert the easy carb in the seed to a form that is not readily fermented by candida and bowel pathogens. This overlooked point means young sprouts and soaked seeds should be avoided just as starch, potatoes and sugar are. KNOWING THE DIFFERENCE between a carb food and one that is not is very important to a person with bowel issues. I can certinaly agree with not cooking everything! Guest guest
Hey Bonnie, Thanks for heads up on CHOs. I am new to this diet and was told that white flour, sugar, and basically a vegan diet is followed. The diet is actually 85% raw and 15% cooked. Sprouting is encouraged as nutritious, but perhaps it is not for everyone. Some folks don't use wheat products at all. I guess everyone does what is comfortable or 'healthy. for themselves. At this point, I long for 'warm' foods - not necessarily cooked. My solution is getting a dehydrater - which heats foods only to the maximum allowable for preservation of food value. Guest guest
Good morning, I started having low back pain when I was in my early 30's. Then when I was 40 my hip hurt so bad i could not walk for long periods of time. Of course the doctors put me on all kinds of medicine. I could not even think on them. I couldnt laugh I couldnt cry I was just numb. A friend of mine told me about natural medicine and I started looking into it. I love it. I started eating only organic foods. I never go to a regular grocrery store now. I got off all that toxic crap the doctores gave me. Well I started haveing rib pain to the point it hurts to breathe. I knew better but back to the doctor I went. The xray showed my low back bones are fusing now. I have really bad bone spures. He wants to give me predizone (sp), embrel injections, flerexal, vicodine, and of coures lexapro for how depressed " I WILL BECOME " . I had to laugh. He wants to treat something " before " I develope it!! When I asked him about alternative medicine he got mad. It kind of suprised me. He said if I want to ruin my life go ahead. Then he told me all these horrable thing that are going to happen to me in the future if I do not start these medicines. Thats why I need all the help I can get. I cant go back to taking all that poison!!I ordered the book last night on mind and back pain. I am walking everyday. I take vitiamns and herbs. I am only 41. Anyway thanks once again and if any of you out there hears of anything else that could help let me know!! Take care and have a really great day... Guest guest
I haven't posted yet but you wanted to know if anyone knew what to do to help with your back pain. I have done Tai Chi for over 10 years now, and just started Yoga the Yoga DVD that I use is: Journey Into Power Baptiste Power Vinyasa This is for total conditioning, toning, focusing and weight loss and #1 for the back! The program is based on the principles of Baron's best-seiing book, Journey into power This is level 1 for beginners. Its easy-to-follow 30 minute routine with detailed explanations of each move and extensive tips on propler form and alignment and the students provide demos at different levels of intensity and ability, making it the perfect proram for the absolute beginner. Baron has trained Hollywood celebrities, DEO's and NFL athletes, also bootcamps, workshops and he sure knows how to lead a yoga class! He has been teaching for over 20 years, and great! the bottom line is since I slowly starting working myself and learning his Yoga class (DVD) I no longer have a back problem! I do have arthritis and this has improved my over all health: body, mind and spirit. The Tai Chi DVD is: discover Tai Chi with Scott Cole AM & PM workout and his the greatest! You can check out their websites; www.baronbaptiste.com and www.scottcole.com they also have other dvd but since this is what I use and has helped my 100% I had to pass along the info your way. Since over the years I find this a great way to say in physical condition with a medical problem this has lead me into deep meditation and wanted to learn more to inprove my health, I purchased classes mostly CD's through Higher Balace Institute and this has done wonders for me: you can do a search for them online and learn more. This is where healing begins! Relieving symptoms associated with stress & sleeplessness, pain, depression, fatigue, and most medical problems. This is proven to be healing and I would say that this goes 100% with natural healing and what so many are missing in their lives today. There is one more CD that you can check out for healing and relaxing: try Your Present: a half- hour of peace cd found at www.relaxintuit.com All this info will truly change your life for the best! Good luck and hope I have lead you in the right direction with your healing. I will be 59 next month and this really has improved my life so much. Donna,Pa. Guest guest
, " Melinda " <angeloramon wrote: >>>Anyway thanks once again and if any of you out there hears of > anything else that could help let me know!!<<< I agree with Mary Lou and would look into a Raw Food diet. Also... I would start calling Chiropractors and find one that knows something about Healing Energy. Many Chriopractors and/or Acupuncturists...know someone who is an alternative doctor - go speak with them. It is good that you are taking charge of this...and looking into your own health by researching more avenues to try. Many people end up taking meds and feeling sorry for themselves sitting on the couch doing nothing! It is good to also remember that Doctors are educated in 'medicine' of course they are going to get mad if you ask for a " no medicine " cure. Congrats on your take charge attitude!! Donna N. Cali.
