My name is jeremy and i'm 26 years-old. I have spent the better part

of the last five years in treatment centers and hospitals. I have a

dual-diagnosis with substance abuse and severe depression on my

plate. I've been clean and sober for almost 2 years. Yet, my

dangerously-potent depression did not begin to lift until the last

few months.

Like many of you, I have felt frustrated & hopeless after trying just

about every drug on the market. There have been several combinations

of drugs that seem to work, however, the improvements never feel good

enough.

When i started taking l-tyrosine and acytl l-carnitine with

magnesium, i experienced the most noticable improvement in mood since

i got sober. The amino acid cocktail is more helpful than any

prescribed med i've tried. I still have bad days, however, my bad

days are less frequent and usually less severe than before i started

taking aminos.

I was skeptical too, but they've worked better than the rest. (by the

way, i continue to take effexor, seroquil, and a small dose of

adderall xr along with the natural stuff)

anyway, i look forward to hearing and learning from you guys.

Hello,

I find that for me, daily doses of 1500mg of Omega 3 fish oil help

with mood issues, so does B-6, Magnesium and for severe days Lithium

Orotate (natural form of lithium) works well.

There are also the amino acids GABA, Taurine and Theanine they help

my hubby when he is feeling down.
