[drugawareness] Anna Nicole Smith Dead, Possible Serotonin

Syndrome Like Her Son's Death

 

 

She was still on antidepressants as she has been for many years. She had

been having cold and flu symptoms as well. What was she taking for

those cold

and flu symptoms? Was it anything with dextromethorphan in it? Most likely

since most cough and cold meds do! And NONE of them mix with serotonergic

medications like antidepressants and/or methadone and/or pain killers.

The serotonin

level goes too high and you die of multiple organ failure - the same thing

that killed her son Daniel.

 

Just yesterday I got a call back on some books I had ordered and as I

began

talking with the fellow who called about what I do to educate about

antidepressant dangers I quickly learned that he lost his wife three

years ago on

Valentine's Day to Serotonin Syndrome after only two days on a new

antidepressant. This is far more common that we realize. This reaction

can be fatal in

within a 24 hour period. And the potential in withdrawal is greater if

you do not

know to come off these drugs VERY SLOWLY as I detail in my tape/CD

" Help! I

Can't Get Off My Antidepressant! "

 

Anna Nicole's death is yet another tragic example of why this

information on

the dangers of antidepressants needs to get out faster (especially when

there has already been a death in the family due to these drugs)

before there are

multiple deaths in families - something I see far too often with these

drugs.
