Hi all really need opinions and suggestions HPV vaccine

I have had a leep in 2005 I had CIN 1 and CIN 2 stages so I went

through the whole biopsy, leep etc. We moved before I got to go for

my recheck but got it with a different dr. Well I came up with ASCUS

again so got another colposcopy didn't show anything then had to

get a few more paps all came back good so far.

Since then I had to have a D & C for other issues.

So we shall see.

This is just a little of my history.

I started taking moducare faithfully after the recheck so not sure

if that actually helps or not but I am taking it faithfully.

I also drink green tea now.

I just found a new green tea with maitake mushrooms in it. Thought I

would give it a try figured it couldn't hurt to add a little extra.

 

Anyway the real reason I wrote.

Since I obivously have hpv, have not been tested as drs say that 90%

of women who have gone through what I have test positive there

really no reason to test.

Anyway this makes it a tough decision to make so would appreciate

any help at all.

 

 

I have a 19 year old daughter that just got her first pap today and

the dr suggested the HPV vaccine. She wants to know what I think.

Well hubby thinks she should get it but I have always been one that

likes to wait and see for a few years what comes out of new things

like this.

Hubby is under the impression that the vaccine has been used over

seas for years now but I have seen nothing that states this anywhere.

 

I have to wonder what the side effects years from now will be also.

I have to seriously wonder if its worth it or not.

 

 

But being as my hubby was the only one I have ever been with and I

had to have gotten from him I am not sure what to tell my daughter

and I was hoping that I could see what you all thought about this .

 

If any of you have any good reliable info that I can read up on this

I would be really greatful.

I'd apprecate any research info etc on the vaccine.

 

I just want to make the best decision for my daughter.

And I need help to find the good info out there.
