Guest guest
These types of antibiotics are being prescribed more and more for simple infections. They were meant to be used as a potent last resort when nothing else worked. They have fluoride in them and damage the body on a cellular level. There are about 12 different Fluoroquinolones, but mainly Ciprofloxacin, Levaquin, and Avelox are what is prescribed. They all can have horrible devastating side effects that come weeks to months after use, and can last for months to years. They can really screw up your thyroid and CNS. Side effects can range from insomnia, anxiety, aches and pains to tendon ruptures. The list of side effects can be quite extensive. Drs. will not admit that there is a problem, and will not try to help. The ADR warnings are in fine print, and you will not even know that this is what brought on all your symptoms. Ther are forums filled with damaged people from " quins " . Be very careful before you take an antibiotic, and research it first. T.B.Y. Guest guest
I was given Cipro for what my doc thought was a bladder infection even tho I didn't have one (years later was dx'd w/ IC). I only took 1/2 tab to start to see what it would do. Let's just say I swear I had done LSD.. Colors were more intense, I felt drunk. It was NOT something that I thought should be a normal abx experience. I did not finish my prescrip. Beware of these!!!!!! -Wendi The Dangers of Fluoroquinolone Antibiotics- e.g.- Cipro, Levaquin, Avelox These types of antibiotics are being prescribed more and more for simple infections.
